Mid Ohio Sunday Inverted Start

Great to get the pole for Sunday's inverted start (by being slowest in the rain on Saturday). I had a lead for a whole lap & 1/2 (Lol). Great CMC group in Midwest and I look forward to coming back when both days may be dry. Here is some video of the opening laps Davi...

Watkins Glen 2014

And Jim got a win at his first trip to Watkins Glen in Sept 2014. Spencer Black is the CMC man to beat at Watkins Glen and turned laps in the upper 2:17's last year. On my 2nd day there, I ran a 2:18.3 with the 5.0 motor, 3:55 rear gears and the road race 5th gear in a T-5 transmission. The AIM solo...

Mid-Ohio Can be "Unofficial" CMC East Coast Champi

Russ & Derek can both show up at Mid-Ohio on the first weekend of October & we can have an unofficial East Coast CMC Championship. Marc Bennett & I plan to attend as I'm trying to go to one new track per year. Watkins Glen was a great trip in 2014 and just like the Glen, I have watched m...

Watkins Glen - 1st Visit

This was my first time to Watkins Glen and it was a blast!...Spencer is really smooth and fast running lap times in the 2:17's...I got down to the 2:18's by the Sunday race and enjoyed the weekend with Spencer & Joe as Nasa-NE/CMC hosts and Jim & I as first time WGI participants. Here is the...

Please let him run the R888's

:o The 888's are the hot set-up for the rain if you put them on 13" wheels, Pinto axles & leave 17" wheels up front front.........especially for the 2015 East Coast Championships.....I'm sure we can talk our regional director into this for our 2014 Regional Champion and Rookie of the Y...

Three closely matched SN95 Mustangs .....If this isn't reason to finish your car, I don't know what is .......#720 (Russ) has been racing with us for a year & finally got his first wins of the season, #53 (Bill P) has enjoyed good success this year with three wins and I finally finished a race w...

SN95 for CMC

Looking forward to having you out with the CMC Mid-Atlantic folks. In 2006 I put a roll cage & racing seats in a 94 Mustang GT street car & went racing. Still had the stereo in it when I took comp school in 2007 & been upgrading piece by piece. Where are you in Virginia? We have a number...

Car counts & Wheel Size

Wow....looks like PhilsTireService post got jumped on by a different company looking to sell Camaro wheels. Phil was actually asking questions about car counts & wheel size so that he could size up demand for a new close to $300/wheel for the other guys that is likely more than wh...

Spec Iron Class

Guys....has the Spec 3 class killed Spec E30? In the Mid-Atlantic region E30 is still the place for the 20-30 car fields & the best drivers having almost as much fun as the CMC gang. For me, it is more about the people of CMC than the cars......I wouldn't trade the folks in CMC for any S197 in t...

Mid Atlantic CMC

I ran track days for years doing one or two per year; in Feb 2007 I ran Comp school at VIR on Friday & raced on Saturday with 2:25 lap times....finishing 5th out of 8 cars. I was on Cloud Nine & still get the biggest kick out of being at the track, racing with great guys (& sometimes gal...
