I agreed it would be less expensive to install these boxes then buy a new tub.

But that's not the point.

This particular idea not only maintains the original mounting points, it makes them certain AND stronger.

fwiw, and please remember that I am no longer a CMC series director... This idea seems reasonable, and I am all for finding ways to make our cars more durable. But where some people see a $400 kit, others see a $400 kit PLUS someone to cut out the existing stuff and weld in the new stuff, make it fi...

Roger that......what about the intake elbow? Is that considered part of the air filter assembly....or is it allowed in some other rule or is it restricted? This is coming from an SN95 guy... I don't know the intake elbow you cite, but Cold Air Intakes are not allowed, unless they were available in ...

Chris, can you clarify...when you say "both sides" you mean both the left and right control arms, ie you're not running a PM3L, correct? Are you running spherical bearings on both ends of the upper arms (ie axle side and chassis side)? Are you running a TA also or just the dual upper arms...

I run the spherical bushings on both sides. I had been running the "no bushing" solution for not quite a season, but it just beat the crap out of my car, especially the drive shaft. (I am absolutely positive there will be at least 20 guys post, and say that clearly I did something wrong......

Speaking of Grassroots Magazine I received a 1 year subscription renewal request in the mail last week saying I only have 2 more issues left. Will we continue to receive a free subscription with our annual NASA membership? Or has that changed since we now have access to Speed New? Nope. For whateve...

I may be wrong but it wasnt til the S197 came into CMC when we're now upping horsepower and discussing ways to prevent tears in the chassis... My understanding was the LS1 would have to richen up so much to drop power that it was washing their cylinders down... which isn't good... Almost stock LS1'...

Dave, nice presentation. In reading your last post, I had to stop and question the explantion of the PM3L. That has got to be the most jerry rigged, crappy exuse for a suspenion part (no less), on a race car. How could anyone argue keeping that as a solution to such a poorly designed rear suspensio...

Wouldn't that equate to those "aliens" being faster still?

Then what?

Is "Alien" a Dodge platform I missed?

Okay, this is silly: all you guys saying "why won't everyone post their data?"

Because we're all out there to win.

Sheesh...

and no, I'm not being sarcastic.

Where are the CMC Championship race results? I can't find the event on MyLaps, and I wasn't "watching" my Race Monitor app in real time.
